Yvonne & Andrew had a beautiful Belongil beach wedding. Well- it was in a park right on the beach!
The Couple:
Andrew, a Lifeguard, and Yvonne, an Occupational Therapist, came up from Sydney to be married near the lovely Belongil beach, just north of Byron Bay. Yvonne looked gorgeous in a white wedding dress with a lace bodice, and black boots. She wore an amazing floral headpiece of red, green, orange and purple foliage. Her six bridesmaids, in dark red dresses, had matching floral headpieces and bouquets. Andrew wore a white shirt with a black bow tie and a purple corsage. His six groomsmen wore blue shirts with bow ties and all wore matching black pants and brown shoes.
The Ceremony at Belongil Beach:
This Belongil Beach wedding in the park adjacent had lovely lighting- dappled sunlight came through the trees surrounding the location. An arbour was set up and guests were both seated and standing. Yvonne arrived all smiles, and her soon- to- be husband Andrew went from nervous to relaxed as he locked eyes with his bride.
They were joined by their beloved pooch, pug Wiggy, who kept a close eye on proceedings! Wiggy had the rings of course. Friends and family were delighted to see this lovely couple exchange their vows and celebrated with them afterwards at the Belongil, just a short stroll over the road!
As you can see, I chose one of their photos (thank you, Fig Tree pictures!) for the homepage of my website. I loved the happy, cheeky look on Yvonne’s face surrounded by her best friends celebrating with her. Thank you so much Yvonne and Andrew, for having me be a part of your special day. And a year later, allowing a journalist friend to contact you about a story featuring Wiggy!
