Matt and Kim- Wedding 8th October- ‘the figtree’-Ewingsdale, Byron Bay.
All aboard for the wedding season. i have been on a long break caring for my family.
Now refreshed, and flat out, with my couples, helping to deliver the dreams of brides and grooms.
Back at the glorious venue- the ‘figtree’, the day was mild and the sun was breaking through the clouds. I made my way down to the cottage, to be met by Matt who was cleaning his pearly whites. He looked every bit an Italian Prince in his back suit shirt and tye.
There was a buzz of nervousness and excitement in the air, and it was my job to step in
and make sure all was in check, ready for our bride to appear.
I called upon all of our guests, to leave there drinks aside, turn off mobile phones,
and gather in, leaving clearance of the Rose petal embellished path.
Matt waited patiently, sweating slightly, and I quietly calmed his nerves, reminding
him he was amongst loved ones and he was not sitting for an exam.
Mikey their 3 year old son, with a mop of golden locks, ran to his dad.
He was wearing a little suit.
The energy was relaxed and very organic, I discussed with Kim and Matt, to go with flow, considering Mikey was only 3.
We welcomed, the energy of Mikey as he held tightly onto dads leg, both there to welcome Kim, looking relaxed and radiant.
Together we all celebrated the truth of their relationship and honored their family unit by welcoming their son, into the ceremony, pausing, and embracing the innocence of youth.
Kim was wearing sleeveless off white, silk satin gown, The yolk of the gown was heavily embellished, however, the body of the gown fitted and elegant, with a fish tail and heavy train. It almost had a romantic hollywood, feel.
I noticed Kim, accentuated eyes in gold tones, which complemented her beautiful ocean coloured blue eyes.
After Kim and Matts nuptials, the guest raised their glasses and we cheered them on as
newly wedds and husband and wife.
This wedding was every bit a family affair full of love, emboding, a modern and relaxed atmosphere.
I wish Matt and Kim, all blessing and being such a small part of their day was memorable. A beautiful and fun couple.
