Well, what can I say about Kira and Willy’s wedding @ noon, Sat 28th May , 2011.I woke in the morning feeling a tad uneasy as , rains was in the air.
Driving over to Broken Head, I invoked the weather Goddess, and trusted that we would have a stunning wedding.
That it was! Arriving onto the beach I was met by a crowd of 75 guests. Mostly from Adelaide, Willy and Kira’s home.
The energy amongst the guest was warm and friendly.
Willy was looking dashing and relaxed in his black Chinos and casual dress shirt.
A bamboo pavilion with white muslin drapes danced in the breeze and the sea shell mobliles tinkered which added a stunning theme to their beach wedding.
The gorgeous Jaia strummed out earthy ballads on his guitar until Kira arrived with her father.
A knock out! Kira designed her own dress, long off white silk fitted sillouette.
She had a soft twisted rope holter neck embellished by small cauiru shells.
So fitting for the couple and the back drop of our beautiful Byron Bay.
The rain held off, and as we were doing a reading which had us all a little teary, the sun broke through the clouds.
That was a special moment.
It was such a joy to be a part of their day, and to be amongst so much genuine love.
I am waiting on pics, from Matt and Katie, check out their blog. I will upload for you and you can take it all in.
Have a great week!
Love……
Audrey
